NFL Draft 2025

The NFL draft charts a new path forward for all 32 franchises. This year, the first round is scheduled for Thursday (7:00 p.m. ET) with Rounds 2-3 on Friday (7 p.m. ET) and Rounds 4-7 on Saturday (12 noon ET).

Why they picked him: The Titans have a big need at quarterback after whiffing on Matthew Stafford this offseason. Carter fits their profile of a blue-chip, generational prospect who can lead the team to success. He has an arm with power, accuracy and anticipation that makes him a good fit for their scheme.

The Jaguars need to protect the blind side of second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence and this pick gives them a solid bookend tackle. Membou is a run blocker who also has the ability to rush the passer. He was a three-year starter at right tackle and won’t be intimidated by the physicality of the NFL game.

The 49ers need to add young talent on both the defensive and offensive lines. Nolen is a versatile pass rusher with the speed and athleticism to play multiple spots on the defensive line. He’s an immediate upgrade over the players San Francisco currently has at those positions and will be a productive player right away.
